What’s reopened and what’s still restricted in 16 cities around the world
Among the many disorienting new realities brought by the pandemic is this: The infection curves cannot be predicted. They spike with new clusters. Rollbacks in restrictions — for travel, commerce, schools or anything else — can bring a flurry of cases. And that may mean controls being reimposed in cities just as they began to reopen. Washington Post correspondents and contributors across 16 cities are keeping a scorecard on where it all stands.
