Pandemic jobless benefits are gone. Where does that leave many Americans?

An Army veteran and mother of two sons, ages 11 and 15, she spent much of the pandemic juggling temporary jobs, child care and bills. She credits unemployment insurance, rent relief, the eviction ban and a modest Veterans Affairs assistance check with keeping her from homelessness.
