Lab-grown meat can’t get here fast enough. I’m thrilled to learn that the first regulatory hurdle in the United States has been cleared. Not only will zero animals have to be killed for their meat, but the lab-grown meat will be free of E. coli and other pathogens commonly found on meat from slaughtered animals — and is an essential step toward slowing climate change.
