Joe Biden, Democrats want face masks forever
OPINION:
Joe Biden’s biggest presidential fight isn’t about securing the borders or reeling in China or blasting back at globalists who want to cripple America’s Constitution so as to exploit Americans’ resources for redistribution around the world.
No. It’s about forcing free citizens to wear stupid face masks — forever, it would seem.
His Justice Department just took up the fight and argued before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention should have the authority to force air travelers to wear face masks.
That, after Biden himself declared “the pandemic is over” during a “60 Minutes” interview in September, 2022.
That, after a federal judge in Florida in April, 2022, ruled the Biden administration’s forced face masking for public travelers was an overreach of authority on the part of the CDC.
So what is going on now? Why the continued fight to force face masks onto fliers?
In short, the Democrats have tasted the power that fear of a virus can give and they don’t want to lose that power.
Face masking is the outward indication to leftists of their level of success at controlling the people. If leftists can force face masks, they can force social distancing; they can force shots and boosters; they can force vaccine passports; they can force contact tracing — which is to say government tracking and surveillance; they can force lockdowns and shutdowns of individuals and economies; they can force a China-like social credit system to be put in place around the world. America, with its emphasis on individual freedoms and God-given liberties, stands in the way of this globalist vision of total control.
But Biden’s their once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — their gold star boy, so to speak.
Biden is the perfect ringleader to keep the fear-filled narratives of COVID alive because he’s a non-thinking puppet for the far left. Whatever he’s fed by way of teleprompter, he reads. Whatever his handlers whisper, he spouts. Whatever globalist, Marxist, anti-American, pro-World Economic Forum, pro-World Health Organization, pro-China message crosses his desk — he pushes.
They say face masks. He says okey-doke.
Logic? Reason? Science? Necessity? Gone. Let the sheep carry forth the fear; let the leftist-leaning trolls get on board with the bleating.
As Florida Rep. Brian Mast tweeted, “If you want to wear a mask on a plane, no one’s stopping you.”
True enough.
But it’s not about choice. It’s about control and power.
“Biden’s administration is fighting to reinstate a federal mask mandate for air travel — even after the president declared in September that the COVID-19 pandemic is ‘over,’ and it’s been nearly a year since domestic airline passengers have been required to mask up on flights,” The Daily mail wrote.
Yes. That’s Team Biden’s big fight.
To put every man, woman and child back in face masks — forever, if possible. And not just on the airlines; not just for airline passengers and pilots and staffers. Check out the public schools across America; check out hospitals and medical offices across America — the teachers’ unions, the Big Pharma-politician partnerships are pushing the same.
“With a New COVID Variant Rising, Some Schools Revert to Former Safety Measures,” Education Week wrote January 10. Specifically, schools in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in Boston, Massachusetts, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and more have all brought back face mask mandates for students. Why?
‘Cause they can.
‘Cause they’re control freaks.
‘Cause the teachers’ unions are in bed with the Democrats and it’s all part of the same bureaucratic game plan to grab control and seize liberties and continue fears of COVID.
“Face Masks Still Required in Health Care Facilities,” SamHealth.org wrote in October.
That was after WebMD reported a month earlier, in September, 2022: “CDC: Masking No Longer Required in Health Care Settings.”
No matter. Hospitals across the nation, health facilities around the nation, have decided to align themselves with their well-funded lobby groups that advocate forced face masking. It’s all about the narrative. It’s all about keeping alive the fear. If face masks go away, then fears subside and life returns to normal — to pre-pandemic normalcy — and all that easy flow of money from Capitol Hill to the medical community dries and disappears. Suddenly, hospitals don’t get paid for test positives of the coronavirus; suddenly, the waivers for Medicare and Medicaid funding disappear.
Face masks keep the pandemic alive.
Thus, Team Biden is back in court fighting for the CDC’s right to require Americans to take whatever COVID-tied mitigation actions the medical bureaucrats decide are necessary.
“The Department [of Justice] continues to believe that the order requiring masking in the transportation corridor is a valid exercise of the authority Congress has given CDC to protect the public health,” DOJ wrote back in April, when the court ruled otherwise. “That is an important authority the Department will continue to work to preserve.”
Face masks forever.
That is the goal of the globalists.
And if Americans go quietly and passively along and put on the masks, then know this: More lockdowns, more seizures of God-given liberties, more clamps on individual rights are coming. The masks are the tell for the globalists to know how far they can push.
