Letter to the editor: Protecting Iran at all costs

OPINION:

Since the very beginning of our republic, we have had warriors who have put their lives at risk in every crisis of our country. It is realistic to accept that there are times in which our political forces disagree on a course of action, frustrating and thwarting our men and women at arms from doing their jobs.

But there is a limit to which this disagreement can be manifested in inaction and equivocation by the administration in power. That happens when the hemming and hawing puts the lives of service members at risk, as it did in Benghazi. Now we have American servicemen and women whose lives are at risk in Iraq — and an administration that refuses to respond forcefully to the constant attacks on our soldiers. You have to infer that the ultimate agenda is to see Iran gain control of the region and wipe the Israelis off the surface of the earth.

The Biden administration and attendant bureaucrats who continue with their current designs to protect Iran and refuse to punish it for overt aggressive acts in the region have to be held totally accountable.
