Post Politics Now: Biden says gas prices are ‘not falling fast enough’ as he outlines more actions

Later Wednesday, President Biden plans to highlight the latest steps in his administration’s push to bolster the country’s use of electric vehicles, including $2.8 billion in Department of Energy grants to expand domestic manufacturing of batteries in a dozen states.

The grants are for the first set of such projects authorized by the bipartisan infrastructure law that Biden signed last year, according to the White House.

Biden has scheduled an afternoon event at the White House to promote the funding, which is going toward projects in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Tennessee and Washington.
